Career
Sofia was announced as a cast member of Logo's well-known reality show, RuPaul's Drag Race, which premiered on the network on January 29, 2011. With a strong, yet comedic voice, and a catchphrase that refers to Go Forward, she became a fan favorite thanks to her unusual use of makeup, wigs, contact lenses, and fashion. In episode 11, she triumphed, where the contestants had to create three separate looks for a hair themed fashion show. In the thirteenth episode of the season, she was eliminated in what was deemed a very emotional lip sync against fellow contestant Alexis Mateo. Sofia received the annual Miss Congeniality award during the reunion special, which aired on May 2, 2011.
Sofia was one of twelve past Drag Race contestants selected to appear in RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, which premiered on the Logo network on September 6, 2012. She joined Team Yarlexis due to the season's team twists. In the fourth episode of the series, which aired on November 12, the twosome was ranked in the 3rd position amongst the squads, with Sofia ranked 5th/6th overall with Mateo.
In episode one of season ten in January 2018, Sofia appeared among other Drag Race alumni as a guest.
She was confirmed to be a member of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6, along with 12 other queens, including fellow All Stars 1 contestant Pandora Boxx on the 26th of May. She won the Variety Show on the first episode and lost the Lip-Sync For Your Legacy against Lip-Sync Assassin Coco Montrese. She was later dismissed on the fourth episode of Halftime Headliners, placing her 10th overall.
Sofia appeared in the RuPaul's Drag Race video "Queen" for New York City-based girl group Xelle, fronted by alum Mimi Imfurst in 2012. Sofia also appeared in the music video "Werqin' Gurl" by season two, three, and All Stars season three alum Shangela.
