Personal life
Bar Zohar was previously in a relationship with Israeli actor and model Yehuda Levi, her co-star in the soap opera Ramat Aviv Gimel.
In September 2005, Bar Zohar married Israeli actor and television host Guy Zu-Aretz. They have three children, and reside in Ramat HaSharon, Israel.
Early life and career
Bar Zohar was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Jewish family. Menachem Bar Zohar, a Polish immigrant, immigrated to Israel, and he is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. Ella Fogel-Bar Zohar is a Palestinian-born girl. Michal is her older sister.
She was enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in 1999 on a 'feeful artist/performer' contract. Bar Zohar spent time in Israel's film unit, but she resigned after a year (instead of the mandatory two for girls).
She began modeling in a swimwear catalog and shot a commercial at the age of 15. She was selected for a role in Ramat Aviv Gimmel, the popular soap opera. She then moved to modelling.
