Early life
Yael Goldman was born in Kiryat Ono, Israel. Both her parents, Dan Goldman and Idit (née Fishler), are of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. She served as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces' Intelligence Corps.
Goldman started studying business administration at the College of Management in Rishon LeZion, near Tel Aviv, in 2005.
Goldman worked at The Yoram Loewenstein Acting Studio from 2006 to 2008.

Career
Goldman started modeling for the Betty Rockaway modeling company after leaving her military service in 1998. Through the years she has worked in Paris and New York City, in magazines, as well as for Galeries Lafayette, Armani, and McDonald's.
