Val Venis Life

Sean Allen Morley (born March 6, 1971), better known by the ring name Val Venis, is a Canadian professional wrestler.

He is best known for his performances with the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE) from 1998 to 2009.

He has also worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Venis won the Intercontinental Championship twice, the European Championship once, and the World Tag Team Championships with Lance Storm twice during his time in WWF/WWE.

As the masked Steele, he was the youngest person and first non-Mexico to win the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship.

Personal life

Morley learned Spanish during his time in Mexican lucha libre promotions. Alannah Morley was married to Adam "Edge" Copeland between 2001 and 2004, after she had been in a relationship with Copeland since 1998.

Morley is a proponent of cannabis's legalization and now works as a budtender at "Well for Life" marijuana dispensary in Mesa, Arizona.

Morley's decision to place their women's championship on a transgender wrestler in February 2020 came after many wrestlers and wrestling followers chastised All Elite Wrestling's decision to place their women's championship on a transgender wrestler, Nyla Rose. Morley argued on his Twitter and Facebook pages that Rose was a biological man and that only a "real woman" should win a women's championship. Several professional wrestlers in several promotions rose to Rose's defense, most notably Cody and Dustin Rhodes, who also criticized Morley's views.

Morley is known to have proclaimed libertarian political convictions and be a believer in QAnon conspiracy theories. "Top Shelf Anarchy" on his YouTube channel, he advocates for anarchy and claims that "the government" is a "criminal body." Morley was briefly suspended from Twitter for breaching their child sexual exploitation policy after posting a photograph that claimed Hunter Biden was having sex with Malia Obama in January 2021. Joe Biden, the president-elect of the United States, is also a pedophil.

Val Venis Career

Professional wrestling career

He began his wrestling apprenticeship in the early 1990s under Jason and Dewey "The Missing Link" Robertson's tutelage in Japan, Conejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (WWC) in Mexico, International Wrestling Association (IWA) and World Wrestling Council (WWC) in Puerto Rico, where he joined the Canadian Wrestling Association (IWA) and the World Wrestling Council (WWC) in Japan, where he spent time as a He was known as Sean Morgan in Japan, but Morley was difficult to pronounce due to the lack of phonetic similarity between the L and R in Japanese. He began using a robot-like mask and gimmick in Mexico and went to Steele, where he became the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship champion.

In 1998, Morley was accepted into the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and given the gimmick of an adult movie star named Val Venis. Venis' life on and off the set was shown by a series of vignettes, the most notable of which featured Venis with prominent real-life porn actress Jenna Jameson.

He debuted on Raw, defeating Scorpio on May 18, 1998. Almost immediately, he was involved in a plot with the Katsuai family, involving him in a tense friendship with Yamazhsang's kayfabe wife, Shian-Li Tsang. As a result, the members of Kokomotivai had a string of bad matches against him. Venis made his pay-per-view debut at Fully Loaded: In Your House, defeating Jeff Jart. On the August 3 episode of Raw, his tag team partner Taka Michinoku would eventually betray him, leading to him and Katsuyo tying Venis up backstage, where Yamachi-San threatened to castrate him with a sword.

However, he said he was saved by "a little shrinkage" and support from his buddy, John Wayne Bobbitt, this week. Venis then challenged the four Japanese wrestlers to a match, which they accepted under the circumstances that it must be a gauntlet match, implying that Venis will have to confront all four of them individually in one match. Michinoku's execution of the Michinoku Driver on Venis and receiving the three-count brought an end to his undefeated streak. Venis defeated Michinoku to a no contest a week later.

Venis had his first title shot in the WWF in 1998 against European Champion D'Lo Brown for his victory. Venis was disqualified, but Brown retained the title as a result. Venis became embroiled in a storyline in which he slept with other people's wives. On the September 14 episode of Raw, Venis introduced Runnels his latest porn film, which stars Dustin Runnels and Terri Runnels. She then became his on-screen girlfriend. This culminated in a contest at Breakdown: In Your House, which Venis won. Venis appeared in the first round of Raw on October 12, defeating Marc Mero in the first round and losing in the semifinals to Ken Shamrock. Runnels returned to his Goldust gimmick on the same night. Venis piqued his rivalry with Goldust, with Goldust winning Judgment Day: In Your House. At Capital Carnage, the two teams clashed again, and Val went on to win the match, bringing an end to the feud. Val dumped Terri after Terri said she was pregnant.

He formed "Supply and Demand" with The Godfather at the end of the year. They began working on the Acolytes' episode on December 7 in Raw. Their squad lasted just a week, including a match against Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown at Rock Bottom: In Your House and a match against the Brood. Venis played in the Royal Rumble match in which he was defeated by Triple H on February 1, 1999. Venis started a feud with Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock after Venis made a film starring him and Shamrock's kayfabe sister Ryan called Saving Ryan's Privates. Venis beat Shamrock with the help of special guest referee Billy Gunn, who was born in Your House. Venis defended the name against Gunn and kept the title unchanged the next night on Raw.

After just one month as champion, he broke up with Ryan and eventually lost the Intercontinental Trophy to Road Dogg. Venis started a feud with Road Dogg and made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania XV, where he competed for the Intercontinental championship in a Four Corners Elimination match that also featured Ken Shamrock and Goldust. Venis lost the game. Nicole Bass, Chyna, and Debra all had "woman issues" throughout the year. Venis and Nicole Bass beat Jeff Jarrett and Debra, Venis reunited with the Godfather and announced their claim for the Tag Team titles at Over the Edge. Venis was defeated by The Rock in the main event on May 24 on Raw. Venis then advanced to the 1999 King of the Ring tournament, but Chyna defeated them in the first round. Venis and The Godfather appeared on the television show The Godfather challenged the Hardy Boyz for the titles on July 12, but the Hardy Boyz kept the titles by being disqualified, but the Hardy Boyz retained the titles. Venis and the Godfather began a feud with Droz and Albert. The Hardys defeated the Hardys in a brutal four-way elimination tag team match for the titles next week, with the Hardys winning the fight and the Godfather, Droz and Albert.

He started a feud with Steve Blackman and defeated him at Unforgiven. Mark Henry, whom he defeated at Rebellion, was his next rivalry. He was involved in rivalry with several key eventers, including The Rock, Mankind, and Steve Austin. Venis defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin in the main event where he lost on October 21 of SmackDown! Venis defeated Mankind at No Mercy in a spirited fight. Venis began a feud with European Champion The British Bulldog over the title in late 1999. Venis teamed up with Mark Henry, Gangrel, and Steve Blackman to face the British Bulldog and the Mean Street Posse, with his team winning the match and his team winning the competition. Venis pinned the British Bulldog in a triple threat match with D-Lo Brown winning the WWF European Championship at Armageddon. Venis played in the Royal Rumble match, where he was eliminated by Kane.

Kurt Angle was sluggish in the European Championship drop on February 10, 2000, the longest his two-month reign. Morley largely disappeared from WWF television broadcasting until mid-May, due to a legitimate neck injury that limited his mobility at the time. He appeared in the King of the Ring tournament, defeating Eddie Guerrero in the quarter-finals but losing to Rikishi in the semi-finals. Venis and Rikishi became feud, resulting in Venis turning heel by aligning himself with Trish Stratus. With Stratus as his boss, a new look - including a haircut, white boots, and trunks - and the near-total disposal of the porn actress gimmick, he defeated Rikishi to win his second Intercontinental Championship and aligned himself with Test and Albert.

They fought it out in a match at Fully Loaded, where Venis defended the title. Venis was brought down by a splash of water from Rikishi's roof during the match, but the team continued to defeat Rikishi later in the tournament to keep the trophy. In a mixed tag team match involving the two teams against Chyna and Eddie Guerrero at SummerSlam, Val's boss, Stratus, inadvertently lost Venis' Intercontinental title to Chyna.

Venis underwent a complete change in persona and became a member of the Right to Censor (RTC) stable just short of. After being kidnapped by Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather, Venis joined RTC. He became a censorship-based character, directly opposing his earlier provocative on-screen person. Morley said in an interview that "the porn star gimmick and storylines kind of overshadowed my work" and that he wanted a more professional persona to better showcase his in-ring skills and rise to the WWF's top heels. Morley has gone on record saying that the Right To Censor character was his least favorite character since he lost the center of his previous appearance, and wrestling wearing a tie and t-shirt was impossible. The Right To Censor rivalry erupted with the Acolytes and the Dudley Boyz, resulting in an eight-man tag team match at Unforgiven, which RTC defeated. On the October 12 episode of SmackDown!, Venis had a shot at the WWF Championship against The Rock, but it didn't win the title. Venis and Mr. Assembled at No Mercy, along with Steven Richards, to battle Chyna and Mr. Ass. RTC won despite Eddie Guerrero's interference, despite Eddie Guerrero's interference. RTC defeated Tazz and the APA in a six-man tag match at WrestleMania X-Seven, which RTC lost. On Raw, he met Kane for the Hardcore Championship next night but lost the match. RTC met The Undertaker in a 4 on 1 handicap match on April 26, when the other members of the team broke out on Steven Richards. Venis stayed in RTC until they disbanded right before the Invasion storyline, feuding with Chyna and "The One" Billy Gunn during his tenure with the company, which culminated in feuding during his time with the organization. Venis disappeared from WWF television when RTC returned from surgery on his hip to remove bone spurs from his motorcycle racing days as RTC began. He was kept off television along with several other wrestlers for whom WWF bookers were unable to come up with any storylines after recovering.

Venis played back in his old gimmick at the 2002 Royal Rumble, where he ranked #20 in the Royal Rumble match but was later dismissed by Steve Austin shortly after. He had two brief feuds with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mr.. Before being drafted to SmackDown, this was all fine. During the brand's extension, the brand was present.

He began identifying himself as "The Big Valbowski" on SmackDown! He joined Edge, Randy Orton, Billy Kidman, and Hardcore Holly as a family rivalry with Chris Jericho, Deacon Batista, and Reverend D-Von.

Venis also participated in the 2002 King of the Ring tournament in June. In the first round, he defeated Christian and then lost to Chris Jericho in the quarterfinals.

Morley was left with a genuine neck injury and laceration in late July after gym equipment fell on Canada.

He returned to wrestling SmackDown!

On September 26, Venis made his last televised appearance as Venis, where he lost to Reverend D-Von and Ron Simmons in a loss to Reverend D-Von and Ron Simmons.

Viscera was out while away, and while he was out, Viscera began working with Charlie Haas, bringing Venis and Snitsky together in a squad that didn't last long. On December 4, Venis and Eugene on Heat were feuding before Eugene interrupted and assaulted him in an "Kiss Cam" segment. Venis and Eugene were battling on Heathrow, which Eugene won.
