Tomoya Kanki Life

Tomoya Kanki (born in Hyogo, 1987), also known as Tomoya, is a Japanese musician best known as the drummer of the band One Ok Rock.

Although he is not a founding member of One Ok Rock, he has appeared on every One Ok Rock album. Tomoya attended ESP Musical Academy, where one of his lecturers, who was in a band, introduced him to a group that had performed with before, but was looking for a drummer.

That band was ONE OK ROCK, and after a period of playing as support, he officially joined a month before their big debut.

Tomoya has the most curious hobbies among the band members and is the eldest member of ONE OK ROCK.

He is the one who writes the ONE OK ROCK blog the most often.

He confirmed he had married on June 9, 2017, but it is unclear as to whom he is married to at this moment.

They have a son.

Personal life

Tomoya is the eldest member of ONE OK ROCK. He belonged to the percussion section of a brass band club, playing various percussion instruments, including tambourine and xylophone. He revealed that he had gotten married on June 9, 2017. He has three sons, three of whom were born in November of 2017, May of 2019, and March of 2021.
