Spencer James Smith (born September 2, 1987) is an American talent agent and former musician and songwriter.

He is best known as a co-founding member and the former drummer of the rock band Panic! at the Disco.

He recorded four studio albums with the band: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005), Pretty.

(2008), Vices & Virtues (2011), and Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! (2013).

The band's debut album went triple platinum and charted at No. 13 on the US Billboard 200, spearheaded by the hit single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", which peaked at No. 7 in the Billboard Hot 100. After recording 4 albums in the band, he announced his departure from Panic! on April 2, 2015 via the band's official website, citing a need to settle his drug issues.

As of February 7, 2018, Spencer works as an official manager and talent finder at DCD2 Records.

Frontman Brendon Urie revealed on Jan. 24 that the group would officially break up at the end of their European tour, which is currently scheduled to end in Manchester on March 10. Urie and his wife Sarah Urie have confirmed that their first child will be born later this year. "I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! On the band's official Instagram page, Urie wrote, "The Disco will be no more."
