Locals at war with parents who oppose their cul-de-sac on the school have begun photographing the worst suspects and reporting them to police

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 5, 2023
At 3 p.m. every weekday, Lon Derw, a quiet street in Bridgend, South Wales, becomes a warzone as parents pile kerbs and block driveways to pick up their children from Brynmenyn Primary School, which is opposite. Homeowners have taken to snaps of the criminals, which they claim are banning them from returning and blocking access to a care facility. Tensions have been simmering between residents and parents for more than a year; in 2022, locals blocked the street with garden furniture in an attempt to discourage motorists from trying to enter.

Despite the new daily £12.50 price, millions of Londoners will avoid ULEZ and keep using cars

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 10, 2023
Millions of Londoners will disregard the ULEZ as it expands to outer London and continue using their cars as public transport service is so unreliable, according to a survey. People are encouraged to keep their cars in the capital's extremities, such as trains, buses, and well-maintained pavements and cycle paths, so they can use them for short trips. According to the Centre for London (CfL), two-thirds of journeys in outer London are by car rather than in inner London - 38 percent vs 19 percent of journeys.
