Miss Universe 2017 was she representing Malta.

Personal life

Pisani was born in Wolverhampton, England, to a Maltese father and a British mother. She and her older sister grew up in Attard, Malta, with her parents and their younger sister. English is her first language, but she studied at a Maltese-language medium school, where she achieved fluency in Maltese. She has been based in London after winning Britain's Next Top Model Cycle 6 in 2005 and has been based in Milan, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Early career

Pisani appeared in "Life in The Dark," a Maltese DJ Ruby's music video. Since then, she has been on the front pages of dozens of Maltese newspapers, including Sunday Circle, Tune In, Pink, Platinum Love, and Milkshake. She took third place (second runner up) in the annual Miss Maltese Islands competition in 2009.
