Early life

Sofia Richie was born in Los Angeles, California, to parents Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander. Nicole Richie and Miles Richie's younger sister. Career

Richie started modeling at the age of 14 with a film in Teen Vogue, and at 15, she began modeling with Los Angeles-based swimwear company Mary Grace Swim, the first fashion firm to work in Los Angeles. Richie joined Select Model Management, a London-based modeling company, for the next year. Richie appeared on Who What Wear and NationAlist Magazine in 2014, and she worked with Teen Vogue and Olay for the year's "Fresh to School" online campaign. Elle Girl, Nylon, Dazed, Fault, Unleash'd, and Love Culture were among Elle Girl's editorials released in early 2015.

During New York Fashion Week, she made her runway debut in February 2016. She was the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection fashion show.
