Shelby Chong (née Fiddis), born February 1, 1948), is an American comedian, actor, and producer who was also the associate producer of four Cheech & Chong films.

She is the wife of comedian and actor Tommy Chong.

Early life

Shelby (Sharon) Fiddis was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1948. She attended Gladstone Secondary School in Vancouver, BC, from Grade 7 to 12, 1966, graduating in 1966.

Personal life

Fiddis, a Canadian actor and comedian, married Kevin Chong, becoming his second wife in 1975 in Los Angeles, Canada. Marcus Wyatt (b.) was adopted by the couple. (c.196) in 1978. They have three more children together in Paris: b.s. b. Gilbran (b. 1974) Gilbran (b. Precious, 1981) and Precious (b. 1968 (Civil War II). Shelby Chong is the stepmother to Tommy's two children from his first marriage, Rae Dawn and Robbi.

When he turned eighteen, Marcus took the surnames of his adopted parents and siblings. He and three of his siblings have all aimed for acting, while his two brothers have appeared in occasional family film productions.

She began performing in local clubs as a stand-up comedian, and was keen on acting and comedy.

Shelby Chong appeared in Cheech & Chong's Next Film (1980), Nice Dreams (1981), and Things Are Tough (1982). She was assistant producer for Still Smokin' (1983) and Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (1984). Far Out Man (1990) as Tree, and in Far Out Man (1990) as Tree. "Nancy Reynolds" in Sandman (1993), "Professor Jones" in Class of Nuke (1996), credited as "Shelby Shepherd" in her role.

Shelby Chong appeared as Tommy's opening act at his comedy shows from 1996 to 2000, when she became his comedy partner. Shelby opened their first act at sold-out comedy shows on their cross-country tour, recalling Cheech and Chong's reunion in 2008.
