Armaghan Shahid PP (Urdu: born 27 April 1971) and Shaan Shahid (Urdu: ) and Shaan are two Pakistani actors, producer, author, and film director, best known for his stage names Shaan Shahid (Urdu: ) and Shaan (Urdu: ) and Shaan. Shaan has established himself as one of Pakistan's most well-known leading actors. Shaan began acting in 1990, making his debut in Reema Khan's film Bulandi. He has received many accolades in Pakistan, including one for his efforts, fifteen Nigar Awards, five Lux Style Awards, one Pakistan Media Award, and the ARY Film Award. He is regarded as Pakistan's highest-paid film actor.

Early life and family

Armaghan Shahid, better known today as Shaan Shahid, was born in Lahore to director Riaz Shahid and actress Neelo. His father was a Punjabi Kashmiri and Muslim, while his mother was a Punjabi Christian who accepted Islam. Fiaz Shahid, his paternal uncle, was a cameraman and producer for PTV in Islamabad.

He began his early education at Aitchison College in the United States. It was his first acting role at a boy scout bonfire. He was named best actor in a play called Alif Noon, playing a comedic actor, but he never took seriously acting as a profession. After Aitchison, he travelled to New York, United States, and Newtown High School. He's always dreaming of being a lawyer, but he's always believed he had the skills to become one. He lived in New York for seven years and then returned to Pakistan for a holiday, where he revived the family's company, Riaz Shahid Films, began. He appeared in his first film, Bulandi, which was released in 1990, at the age of 19.

He married Amina Shahid, Fatima Shahid, Shah Bano Shahid, and Raanay Shahid.

Shaan made his Bulandi debut in 1990 opposite another debutante Reema Khan. He has since appeared in hundreds of Urdu and Punjabi language films.

Aisha Khan, Shamoon Abbasi, Uzma Khan, Ali Azmat, and Meesha Shafi appear in Bilal Lashari's highest-grossing film in 2013. At the 1st ARY Film Awards, he received the Best actor award of viewer choice. He appeared in Jami's O21 with Aamina Sheikh, Iman Ali, Shamoon Abbasi, and Ayub Khoso after the success of Waar. Hassan Waqas Rana's direction and production of Shaan and Adnan Sidddiqui is expected to be the most expensive film in Pakistani cinema in 2015, with an estimated budget of Rs 50 crore.

Shaan began as a filmmaker in Pakistan, with the intention of changing filmmaking. Guns and Roses - Ik Junoon, his grandson's debut in 1999, was he directed by him. Tanvir Fatima Rehman, an art critic, produced the film. Faisal Rehman, Meera, and Resham co-starred. M. Arshad scored the music, the cinematography was directed by Azhar Burki, and Pershaz Kaleem wrote it. Noor, Reema Khan, Moammar Rana, Javed Sheikh, and Atiqa Odho were all directed by him in 2000.

He later directed Moosa Khan (2001), which starred him, Saima, Abid Ali, Jan Rambo, and Noor. Critics were extremely complimentary about the film.

In 2008, he signed a three-film contract with actress Juggan Kazim. Chup, one film, had been in pre-production for several years before being scrapped; the others are still in pre-production. Sarmad Sultan Khooosat, a screenwriter, is co-producing screenwriter Mashal Peerzada and Pakistani television producer and screenwriter, is writing for his film scripts. Shaan appeared on ARY Digital's show Happenings, which featured him directing a film scene with actress Resham in a Haveli house in 2009. In the interview, he confirmed that he had been filming, but that no one knows about it. In 2012, he revealed that he would direct one film that has been on hold for many years, Mission Allahu Akbar opposite Juggan Kazim in Thailand. Shaan's films were put on hold in 2013 because he is involved in his exciting acting ventures.

Shaan joined Geo Television Network and hosted a morning show named Geo Shaan Say on Geo News. However, he soon departed the show to concentrate on the creation of his film Waar.

Shaan has been a hot topic for several brands and campaigns, with his extensive education and grooming, as well as the ability to project dignity and elegance by his body and expressions; several of them have had the pleasure of hosting him. Shaan was the Goodwill Ambassador for 'One Pack = One Vaccine,' a UNICEF, Procter & Gamble, and the Ministry of Health's campaign to remove tetanus from Pakistan. Shaan has dedicated himself to the cause, including malls and stores in Karachi and Lahore, to raise concerns amongst parents, especially mothers, about the deadly disease and how to avoid it.

Shane is a brand ambassador for PSL's Lahore Qalandars, ahead of its second season.

Shaan is an avid sports fan. After PSL named the brand ambassador of Kashmir Premier League, he took responsibility. He was appointed as the brand ambassador for Punjab Sports Board in January 2021.
