Mirza Nazeer Baig (born 19 July 1941) better known by his stage name Nadeem Baig, is a Pakistani actor, singer, and producer.
He has appeared in more than two hundred films, including the 1997 Pride of Performance award.

Early life
Baig was born in Vijayawada, modern Andhra Pradesh, and was a member of Madras Presidency in British India in 1941. After Pakistan's independence in 1947, Nadeem Baig and his family migrated to Dhaka, East Pakistan. He completed his high school at Sindh Madrasa-Islam and attended several years of college at Government Islamia Science College in Karachi before he ventured into the Pakistani film industry.
Nadeem, as well as musician Talat Hussain, M. Zaheer Khan, Aftab Azeem, Saleem Jafry, and television producer Iqbal Haider were among others who were discovered at a Karachi club in the 1960s. Ameer Ahmed Khan and Qasim Sidddiqui were among his many music competitions. Ferdausi Rahman, a singer, was spotted at one of those musical competitions. She was captivated by his singing abilities and encouraged him to try back-songing in Dhaka's film industry.
Career
Nadeem's film career spans more than 50 years. He began his career in 1967 and appeared in his first film Chakori (1967) in a leading role with actress Shabana. Captain Ehtesham, who in real life became his father-in-law in 1968, married Farzana, Ehtesham's daughter. The film did well in both directions of Pakistani film industry, i.e., West and East Pakistan. In the best actor's category for Chakori, he received a Nigar Award. Nadeem (1973), Anari, Pehchan (1975), Talash (1976), Lajawab, Qurbani (1981), and Dehleez (1983). He co-starred in the majority of his films with actress Shabnam. Nadeem has performed numerous songs for films in addition to acting. Nadeem has worked with veteran film directors of Pakistan, including Pervez Malik, Nazrul Islam, S. Suleman, Shamim Ara, Sangeeta, and Samina Peerzada. He has worked with Santosh Kumar, Darpan, Waheed Murad, Allauddin, and Syed Kamal over his long career. He is one of the most well-known actors.
