Satish Shah (born 25 June 1951) is a Hindi film actor who has appeared in a few Marathi films as well as a television actor.

He is perhaps best known for his appearances in the 1980s sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi produced by Kundan Shah and Manjul Sinha, where he played more than 60 different characters in a year.

In the 1984 film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro directed by Kundan Shah, he appeared as Municipal Commissioner D'Mello.

He has appeared in various roles in his career through the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, beginning with his first film, Arvind Desai Ki Ajeeb Dastaan in 1978.

Apart from his work in Bollywood, he has appeared on television shows such as Sarabhai and also judged the Comedy Circus laughter competition.

To date, he has appeared in over 200 feature films.

Satish Shah, a Kutchi Gujarati from Mandvi, is a writer. He attended the Xavier's College and later joined the Film and Television Institute of India.

Satish Shah has been married to designer Madhu Shah since 1982. Shah was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. After making a complete recovery, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on 20 July and discharged on July 28.

He is perhaps best known for his appearances in Kundan Shah and Manjul Sinha's 1984 sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, where he appeared in 55 episodes and the role of Prakash in the Zee TV - Filmy Chakkar's television serial "Fitch" series, which he appeared in 50 episodes. In 2004, Sarabhai defeated Sarabhai as Indravadhan Sarabhai. In both Filmy Chakkar and Sarabhai, his pairing was opposite Ratna Pathak Shah. He appeared as lead in Ghar Jamai for 80 episodes as well as serial "All The Greatest" with Swaroop Sampat for 109 episodes.
