Early life

Sarah Hassan was born in Mombasa, Kenya, on September 5,1988, as her parents' only child. She started acting at the age of five early in life. She went to Machakos Girls High School and later joined Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture and Technology, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science.

Sara Hassan married Martin Dale on February 25, 2017 and they have a son together.

Career

Hassan made her television debut on TV in 2009 as Tanya on Kenyan high-school drama series Tahidi High, where she became one of the main characters at the time. She appeared in numerous series, including Demigods, Saints and Changes, and even went on to host Sakata Mashariki's East African Dance show. She took over Noni Gathoni's role as the main host of The Wedding Show in 2013 until December 2014. In addition to acting, she is also a brand ambassador for several Kenyan fashion lines. She is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
