Career
Bennett performed Cora Corman for her debut in the 2007 romantic comedy Music and Lyrics, and it was only her third appearance. Several songs for the film's soundtrack include "Buddha's Delight" and "Way Back to Love"; fragments of the songs "Entering Bootytown" and "Slam" are seen during concert scenes; her song "Invince" appears during the end credits. She signed with 550 Music/NuSound Records (part Epic Records) in the same year and began working on her debut album that was never released.
