Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17, 1988) is an American actress, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, and model.
She is best known for her role as Roselie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008–2012).
She made her debut in 2003 after the release of Catherine Hardwicke's film Thirteen, in which she was credited as a co-writer on the screenplay and in which she appeared as a lead actress.

Early life
Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California, to Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and Seth Reed, a production designer. She has an older brother, Nathan August Reed, and a younger half-brother, Joey Reed. Her mother is a Christian of part Italian descent, whereas her father is Jewish. Reed was born without faith and has been identified as Jewish. She grew up around Jewish traditions as her brother had a Bar Mitzvah.
In several interviews, Reed has said that her early childhood experience was "complicated." Reed's parents divorced when she was two years old and her mother was raised by her mother. When Reed announced her interest in acting, Catherine Hardwicke, a friend of her mother's, invited her to perform on a script with her. They completed the script for the semi-autobiographical film Thirteen in six days. Reed wanted to be in the film because they had trouble casting it because it was a "uncomfortable" position for most young actresses, according to the producers.
Reed received positive feedback in Hollywood as both a screenwriter and an actor.
