Carmen Ferrara on Popular, and Lesser than Perfect's Claude Casey are two of her appearances.

Shedding for the Wedding was the CW reality show Shedding for the Wedding in 2011.

She appeared in the comedy Rules of Engagement, where she played Brenda, the softball teammate and good friend of Jeff Bingham.

She appeared on the short-lived ABC sitcom Malibu Country as Kim, as well as being a member of the main cast of the TV Land comedy series Impastor.

Early life

Sara Rue was born Sara Schlackman, the granddaughter and former actor of Joan Schlackman (née Rue), a New York City municipal employee and former actor, and Marc Schlackman, a stage manager. She was born in New York, where her parents were active in Broadway theatre. She is Jewish.

Personal life

Mischa Livingstone married Rue in 2001 and they divorced in 2007. Kevin Price, a Rue married teacher, married in a Jewish wedding on May 21, 2011. In February 2013, she gave birth to their first child, a daughter. In November 2016, She and Price adopted her second child.

Rue began acting at the age of nine, appearing in the 1988 film Rocket Gibraltar as Kevin Spacey's niece. In the first meeting of Roseanne and Dan, Rue played a very young Roseanne.

She appeared in the comedy Grand before heading to Phenom; Minor Adjustments; Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane; The Division and Popular She appeared on ABC sitcom Less than Perfect in 2002 to 2006. She has appeared in a variety of films, including A Map of the World, Can't Wait, A Slipping Down Friend, The Idocracy, Gypsy 83'. In Gore Verbinski's adaptation of The Ring, she appeared as a babysitter. She captivated director Michael Bay so much that she was written into the film Pearl Harbor for her.

Rue was uncredited in the role of Attorney General in the 2006 Mike Judge film Idiocracy. Rue appeared in the stage musical Little Egypt with French Stewart, Jenny O'Hara, and Gregg Henry at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles in 2006. Berta's pregnant youngest daughter appeared in Two and a Half Men as Berta's pregnant youngest daughter.
