Sandy Vee Life

Sandy Julien Wilhelm (born in Toulouse on April 22, 1975), also known by his stage name Sandy Vee, is a French musician and songwriter.

He received major industry and critical esteem for co-producing Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)," Katy Perry's "Firework"), as well as eight songs on the David Guetta album One Love.

He appeared in several jazz, rock, and punk bands before gaining exposure to France's underground DJ scene.

He now lives in New York City. Sandy Vee of Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)" received the Best Dance Recording at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

In addition, he was also selected in the category Album of the Year for Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.

Early success

As David Guetta approached Vee after a set and told him how much he loved his song Bleep, he was DJing at a Pacha Ibiza party. The two artists banded together and pumped into the studio to produce the song that would eventually be called "On The Dancefloor" for will.i.am. "We found that not only did we work well together, but we also worked fast... We decided there was no reason to stop," Vee says. Vee co-produced 8 songs on Guetta's internationally popular album One Love.
