After finding the dead animal on his property the same day refuse workers had to walk out in the midst of a dispute over compensation with the local council, Syed Sumon was left sickened. During the industrial crisis, mountains of rubble had assembled on the streets, attracting vermin like rats and foxes, attracting rats and foxes, with the stench of garbage continuing for weeks outside of businesses, despite bin collection's resuming. Last night, the bin worker protest came to an end, after Tower Hamlets Council announced that it had signed an agreement with unions, and workers have started collecting garbage again. Lord Alan Sugar, an east London man, was left shocked after being confronted with a "stock pile of garbage" in Bethnal Green Road, although market stallholders left mounds of detritus behind in Whitechapel Road earlier this week.

Even after the completion of bins strikes that saw rats and foxes ripping open refuse bags on the popular tourist hotspot, Brick Lane in East London will still be strewn with the stench of garbage for weeks.
