Paulina Garca Robles (born 26 February 1993) is a Mexican television presenter, sportscaster, and model currently employed by ESPN Deportes and ESPN Mexico.

Garca Garca won Nuestra Distrito Federal in 2013 and went on to represent in Nuestra Belleza México's 2012 edition, where she studied communication and digital media and was a member of the volleyball team.

Career

Garca was first in English at a national Knowledge Bowl, earning her an academic grant to the University of Montery, Mexico's campus. Garca was nominated for the Borrego de Oro in the Sports category while at the University.

Garca began her broadcasting career by appearing in YouTube clips for Universidad Insurgente and Across Life, as well as Ni Pio Deportes pilot Terry Jones. Garca appeared on FOROtv morning's Matutino Express in February 2015, just shy of her 22nd birthday.

After a few months on Matutino Express, she left the show and joined ESPN Mexico in June 2015. On morning talk show Toque Inicial, she made her debut on the network on Monday.

Garca began her work with ESPN, most notable Toque Inicial, where she co-hosted the show with Juan Pablo Fernández. SportsCenter Ahora, a two-minute recap of the day's most important news, featured her on several segments. During Raza Deportiva and Jorge Ramos y su Banda on ESPN Deportes as well as online, the segments aired on daytime shows on ESPN Mexico and ESPN Deportes. Garca was also the social media reporter for Ftbol Picante's afternoon edition from February 2016 to August 2017.

Garca began hosting YoRio, a show dedicated to the 2016 Summer Olympics, in February 2016, alongside José Ramón Fernández, Alejandro de la Rosa, and Tlatoani Carrera. Garca covered her first major sporting event in Rio de Janeiro later this year when she was sent by ESPN to cover the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Garca and Francisco Gabriel de Anda hosted ESPN AM in August 2017 and Toque Inicial (since it was rebranded as Toque) and the afternoon edition of Ftbol Picante. Garca became a permanent anchor of the Spanish-language version of SportsCenter in September 2017, and had only been used as a occasional fill-in.

In July 2018, ESPN sent Garca to cover the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Garca also covered the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, for ESPN in July.
