The Premier League is a volatile place where players can be sold, loaned, or released at any moment's notice, but players often return to their old clubs amid the chaos of trying to find a new one. While considering their next career move, footballers can return to their old haunts to keep their fitness up. Mail Sport looks at the other players who have recently moved back to Cobham to train with their former clubs, after former Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand returned to Cobham to train this summer.

Since his deal with Leicester in the Championship ended earlier this summer, the 34-year-old defender has been without a club. Leicester boss Enzo Maresca is keen to shed comparisons to Pep Guardiola and make his own name in coaching as he looks to launch the Foxes back into the Premier League

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 29, 2023
Any comparisons to Pep Guardiola could start to annoy the new Leicester boss in a matter of minutes in Enzo Maresca's firm. The Italian, who won the Treble as assistant manager at Manchester City, aims to make his own name in coaching. We should be discussing Leicester's relegation just seven years later as one of England's biggest upsets in recent history. There is seldom a dull day at the King Power Stadium, but Maresca is determined to instill calm. Maresca's playing team has undergone a makeover in less than a month as their new coach, ahead of their first Championship season in more than a decade. For large fees, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes were out, while senior pros Jonny Evans and Ryan Bertrand were left for nothing. Conor Coady and Harry Winks, a former England international, joined young Danish keeper Mads Hermansen and highly rated Calum Doyle, who is on loan from Manchester City.
