Rory Bushfield (born May 30, 1983) is a Canadian skier, director, and reality show star. Bushfield is a former member of Canada's World Cup team, as well as skiing moguls.
He has also competed in slopestyle skiing before focusing on backcountry skiing and filmmaking.
On May 7, 2013, he was crowned champion of the competition after defeating Nicole Eggert.
Personal life
On September 25, 2010, Bushfield and fellow freeskier Sarah Burke were married in Pemberton, British Columbia. Burke was a five-time gold medalist at the Winter X Games and earned the world championship in halfpipe in 2005. On January 19, 2012, she died as a result of a training crash in Utah. In her honor, Sarah Burke founded the Sarah Burke Foundation.
With his dog, Dexter, Bushfield lives in Squamish, British Columbia. He is also a single-engine pilot.
