Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez is front and centre of Argentina's racism scandal... but which other Premier League stars were on the team bus while vile song aimed at French players was sung?

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 17, 2024
Argentina's Copa America win has been marred with controversy after Enzo Fernandez posted a video appearing to show several players singing or chanting along with a song that has alleged racist lyrics.  Chelsea have since confirmed that they will be conducting an internal investigation into the matter, publishing a statement on Wednesday morning condemning 'all forms' of discriminatory behaviour.  While a number of the Albiceleste squad were present on the team bus following the victory in Florida, it is still unclear which players were taking part in the chanting beyond Fernandez.

Argentine Football Association president Chiqui Tapia gave somebody the gross job of wiping his sweat away during his nation's Copa America semifinal on Tuesday night. Tapia was watching his nation beat Canada 2-0 at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey where it was another stifling evening.  But while his team gave him no reason to sweat, Tapia was struggling in the heat and felt the need to deploy someone to keep his face dry.
