Lively is best known for her appearances in Teen Witch, as well as her appearances in Doogie Howser, M.D., Twin Peaks, Savannah, and Saving Grace.
Early life
Robyn Lively was born in Powder Springs, Georgia; her mother, adoptive father, and all four siblings are (or have been) involved in the entertainment industry. She is the niece of talent manager Elaine Lively (née McAlpin) and her first husband Ronald Otis (Ronnie) Lively. Lori and her brother Jason, as well as Eric and Blake, are her half-siblings.
Personal life
Bart Johnson, a lively married man, was born on September 25, 1999. Baylen, Kate, and Wyatt Blake are three children of the couple. The family lives in the Hollywood Hills.
Career
Lively began her acting career as a child actress; at age six, she made her screen debut in the television film Summer of My German Soldier in 1978. She appeared on several television shows, including Silver Spoons, Punky Brewster, and Starman throughout the 1980s. She appeared in the feature films Wildcats, The Karate Kid Part III, Teen Witch, and Not Quite Human.
Producers were forced to rewrite her character of protagonist Daniel LaRusso's new love interest after she was staring as Jessica Andrews in The Karate Kid Part III in 1989, when Ralph Macchio was just 16 years old and still a youth, though his character Daniel is 17 years old. Jessica and Daniel's romance scenes were rewritten in order that the pair only shared a close friendship. Lively reprised her role as Jessica Andrews in Cobra Kai's fifth season, where it is revealed that Daniel is married to Amanda.
Lively, 19, was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as an insecure teen in 1991' ABC Afterschool Special "Less Than Perfect Daughter." She appeared on Twin Peaks, Doogie Howser, M.D., and Chicago Hope in the 1990s. Lane McKenzie, one of three main characters in the short-lived WB drama Savannah, appeared in 1996.
