Richie Koh (Chinese: X Ruqq ) is a Singaporean actor and a contracted artiste under the banners of MediaCorp and China's LongAllStar Entertainment Group.
Personal life
In 2014, Koh earned a Diploma in Financial Informatics from Ngee Ann Polytechnic College. He completed his national service with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
Career
When Channel U's Hey Gorgeous crew went to various Singapore campuses looking for suitable contestants in 2013, Koh was scouted. During the season, he gained a lot of support and emerged as the first runner-up.
After serving National Service, Koh began his career by debuting in Channel 8's army-themed drama When Duty Calls, a major role that captured viewers' hearts. Fans lauded his natural performance and good looks, which culminated in his first nomination for Best Newcomer in the 2018 awards. Koh took a month off to film The Legendary Detective of the Shanghai Bund, where he appeared as an assistant to the agency detective in October this year.
