Early life

Kuo was born in Gongliao Township, Taipei County, Taiwan, on June 30, 1988. Since her mother died of breast cancer when she was 9, her younger sister and her older sister were cared for by relatives while her father was in China for many years. [6] — a troll.

In 2008, Kuo debuted as a commercial model. She made her first television appearance in a McDonald's commercial that aired in Taiwan. She was discovered by Dorian Entertainment, which she retained as her own management company, following her professional appearance. Tia Lee and Emily Song of Dream Girls were under preparation at the time during their time together before officially debuting as a group. Kuo appeared in numerous music videos and appeared in variety shows such as Guess, 100% Entertainment, and Kangxi Lai Le.

Kuo made her first acting appearance in SETTV's drama Inborn Pair in December 2011, portraying the daughter of a triad boss. Inborn Pair was a ratings hit, and the company's name has risen as a result of its success.

Kuo starred in Silent Code, her first film in 2012. Miss Rose, another SETTV drama starring a spoiled fiancee to lead actor Roy Chiu's character, appeared the same year. Dream Girls formed their second group EP Girl's Talk in December.

Kuo made a cameo appearance in Fabulous Boys, the Taiwanese version of the famous Korean idol drama You're Beautiful. Cheng Liang was also playing Cheng Liang in the same year that she received her first lead role in SETTV's Just You, opposite Aaron Yan. The Kuo and Yan pairing was well-reced, and the two were named "Best Screen Couple Award" at the 2013 Sanlih Drama Awards. Dream Girls' debut studio album was released in December this year.

Kuo appeared in the second season of We Got Married Global Edition at the beginning of 2014. In the variety show, Kuo's Kim Heechul appeared as Kuo's representative. Her appearance on the variety show helped her gain a following outside of Taiwan.

Kuo was delighted to be pleasantly surprised in April 2014. Kuo starred opposite well-known male model and actor Jasper Liu, whom she first encountered and later collaborated with for a short comedy skit at the 2013 Golden Bell Awards presentation show, where they played a couple as leads in a romantic idol drama. She played an aspiring French chef with a sarcastic demeanor who eventually opens up and falls in love with her handsome sunshiny co-worker played by Liu. Critics and followers alike applauded Kuo and Liu's chemistry as a screen couple, which was both highly praised and applauded. At the 2014 Sanlih drama competitions, the two couples received the "Best Kiss" award. When Kuo received the "China Wave Award" at the same ceremony, her fame outside of Taiwan increased.

Dream Girls, Kuo's band, first signed to Linfair Records on March 23, 2011, they debuted their EP Dream Girls on April 8 (). On December 7, 2012, the group's second album, titled "Girl's Talk," debuted on its website.

Kuo's fame in South Korea and her group Dream Girls were the only Taiwanese music act invited to the "2014 Asia Song Festival" in Busan, South Korea, after appearing in We Got Married Global Edition. Kuo appeared as a guest emcee at the function.

Kuo took a break from acting to work on Dream Girls' next album and a photo book that had been set to be released in December 2014.
