Early career and education

Pepper Jay began her acting career as a child, writing and performing in playground, local theatre, and backyard plays. Walter Brennan, a television sitcom, appeared in two episodes of The Real McCoys, which premiered on ABC in 1957. She received her Associate Arts degree from El Camino College in Torrance, California, and a bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University after dropping out of Susan Miller Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, California. Pepper Jay received a lifetime teaching credential from the State of California. For the Los Angeles Unified School District, a fluent in Spanish, Jay in the 1970s taught drama, dance, Spanish, rule, and health and physical education. She was sent to John Muir Junior High School, John Muir Junior High School, and Crenshaw High School, where she taught tap dancing and produced shows by the 100+ member drill team. She has worked in Bakersfield, California, and San Diego, CA, among other school districts, including Bakersfield, CA and San Diego, California. Pepper Jay graduated from public school in 1983 and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. She was accepted into the State Bar of California in 1985 and went on to practice law in state and Federal Court for 32 years, specializing in representation of trustees and creditors in cases of misconduct of employment and fraud. Pepper Jay served as both a member of the Wilshire Bar Association and President of the Association for three years during this period.

Career in entertainment and journalism

Pepper Jay Productions, LLC, was founded in 1990 by Pepper Jay Productions, LLC, an entertainment company. She founded the Working Actors Group, where she and her teaching partner John Michael Ferrari conducted on-camera and cold-reading workshops to select union stars from 1993 to 2010. Pepper Jay continues to teach singing, actors, professor, lawyers, students, and speakers today.

Pepper Jay has been performing singer-songwriter-recorder John Michael Ferrari for more than 30 years. Ferrari's most recent project, "Be the Smile on Your Face" (2020), features storytelling country crossover songs written by Ferrari and produced by Pepper Jay. They first collaborated together on the album "My Early Life" (2018), which featured tracks from Ferrari over the past five decades. Many of Ferrari's hits have been released since the 1990s, including "poorta's dreams" and "sentimental fool I keep dreaming." With John Michael Ferrari, Thurston Watts, Mack Doughtery, Pat Zicara, Norman A. Norman, Russell Watts, Al Boyd, Al Boyd, Kenyatta Mackey, Al Vescovo, and Allison Iraheta, John Michael Ferrari's former band, "Ferrari Pepper Jay is a performer from 2005 to present, one from Las Vegas, Nevada, and the other from Nashville, Tennessee. Pepper Jay Productions is a music publisher, under the name Cappy Records, and a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. Pepper Jay's song "Like a Rock and Roll Band," a let's-all-get-together-in-love-and-harmony" song that was named "Peace Song of the Year" at the Art 4 Peace Awards. The album "Be the Smile on Your Face" by John Michael Ferrari was named Triple A Album of the Year 2020 by the Producers Choice Honors.
