Career

Park, a teenager, was known for his acting and musical talents, as well as his good looks, which earned him a following among fans. Park appeared in a variety of television dramas and films following his debut in the MBC drama Theme Theater (1994). Park co-starred in Winter Sonata with Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo, bringing him fame in Japan.

Park, as a singer, was the "mysterious" voice behind Just For Yesterday, the hit theme song of SBS drama All In's hit theme song starring Lee Byung-hun and Song Hye-kyo.

Park has released many Japanese albums and held sell-out concerts in Japan and Korea.

In 2008, Park performed the theme songs of SBS' On Air. Behind Love, the Japanese version of the theme songs, was his 6th single album. Love, which was released on July 23, 2008, was ranked as the third top single album on Oricon, Japan's top daily album chart. Say Goodbye's next single album, Love, and his full-length album Love were both released in November 2008, and they were ranked within the top ten on Oricon.

Park appeared in SBS drama On Air in 2008 and Mnet Japan as a drama PD, Kyoung-min Lee. In a showcase attended by 800 VIPs at Toho Cinema in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, he and co-star Song Yun-ah visited Japan to promote the film. Hyun-soo Kang appeared in the film The Scam as an individual investor (small-time investor). The Scam was first introduced in February 12, 2009. He appeared in the drama The Slingshot, starring Kim Shinin, which first appeared on KBS2 on April 6, 2009.
