BTS launched their "Proof," an anthology album, on June 10th, and four days later, they released their final FESTA video, a video of the group's dinner and drinks to commemorate their ninth anniversary. Despite the fact that BTS has released countless FESTA dinner videos over the years, the mood was quite different from those of previous years, as RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V., and Jungkook were planning to make a big announcement that would send shockwaves across the fandom.
Fans may have noticed that the "Proof" period of BTS differed from previous, supersized ones. "Proof" is a nine-year anniversary anthology collection that focuses on the company's biggest, most impactful hits from their extensive discography. Three new songs have been released: "Yet to Come," "Run BTS," and "For Youth." BTS explained that they opted for a scaled-back appearance at their FESTA dinner, implying that they're marginally burnt out and would not want to worry about finding themselves as individual artists for a while.
