Pandora Boxx (born Michael Steck in Jamestown, New York) is an American drag queen, comedian, and reality television presenter from Rochester, New York.
She is best known as a contestant from RuPaul's Drag Race's second season and RuPaul's inaugural All Star Drag Race.
Early life
Michael Steck was born in Jamestown, New York. The family later moved to Olean, New York. After seeing Darienne Lake, the potential season six contestant, perform in an outdoor festival in Rochester, New York, Steck was inspired to do drag. Steck's drag name was a play on the words of Pandora's box, an ancient Egyptian mythological treasure.

Career
Boxx appeared on two occasions before being a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race's second season. Carol Channing's impersonation on "Snatch Game" (a Match Game parody challenge) is one of the highlights from her Drag Race appearances. She did well in the show's challenges but RuPaul dubbed her "the Susan Lucci of this competition" after her failure to win one. In the eighth episode, "Golden Gals," she was eliminated. Entertainment Weekly named her as their "America's Next Drag Superstar" after her ouster. She was later named Miss Congeniality of her season by the end of her reign.
Boxx appeared on three seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race spin-off series "Women's Drag U." following her retirement, she appeared on the three seasons of RuPaul's Drag U.S.'s Drag U. She also appeared in a Absolut Vodka television commercial that aired during the third season of Drag Race disguised as a Bloody Mary.
In 2011, she hosted an episode of Logo's One Night Stand Up, a comedy special broadcast live in the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Bianca Del Rio, Hedda Lettuce, and Kelly Mantle were among the others on stage. Boxx appeared in an Entertainment Weekly photo spread later this year, as well as Mimi Imfurst's article in which Melissa McCarthy channeled Divine. Boxx's first single "Cooter" was released on September 27, 2011.

Boxx and teammate Mimi Imfurst formed Team Mandora, and the first two contestants eliminated on All Stars placed 11th/12th.

Boxx first hosted Drag Race recaps for NewNowNext on Logo in 2013. The "Drag Center" in 2013 was the site hosting Drag Race recaps. She also performed "You Seemed Shady to Me," with Adam Barta, who debuted the song "You Seemed Shady to Me" on the iTunes comedy single chart, which debuted at number one on the iTunes comedy single charts.
She was one of thirty drag queens to be included in Miley Cyrus' 2015 VMA show.
In 2018, Boxx published "Oops I Believe I Pooped," a parody of Katy Perry's "This Is How We Do" parody. The Music Video featured fellow RuPaul's Drag Race contestants Alaska Thunderfuck, Jasmine Masters, and Mariah Paris Balenciaga, as well as Queer Eye Jai Rodriguez.
In May 2019, Boxx appeared on stage during Christine and the Queens' appearance at the end of RuPaul's Drag Race's eleventh season.
