Omar Kareem Naber (born 7 July 1981) is a Slovenian singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

He appeared in Slovenia for the first time with the song "Stop" and the song "On My Way" at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, but failed to qualify for the final on both occasions.

Early life

Samir Naber, a father who hails from Jordan, is a dentist by profession in Ljubljana. Alenka Naber, a Slovenian, is a piano teacher who works as a piano tutor. He was raised Christian, like his parents. He completed his high school diploma as a dental technician and even undertook six months of internship, but soon realized that this is not what he really wants to do in his life. He has been active in music since the age of 16, when he joined Veter (Wind), a mixed choir of Ljubljana high schools. Green Day was the primary inspiration for him to become a guitarist.
