Ofer Shechter (born April 8, 1981) is an Israeli actor, comedian, model, and television presenter.

Early life

Shechter was born and raised in moshav Hadar Am, Israel, to a family of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. Shechter was involved in a commercial for a watermelon ice pop that was broadcast on Israeli television at the age of seven. Shechter attended Yoram Levinstein's theater course and studied acting in front of a camera after his military service in the Israel Defense Forces.

Career

Shechter was selected by 2002, alongside a group of young Israeli hosts including Mali Levi, Michael Hanegbi, and Yael Goldman, to host the Israeli youth television show Exit on the newly established Israeli Channel 10. Shechter's "Exit" was given a wide audience, not necessarily because of his hosting skills but rather because of the numerous controversies she created during the show, most notably during a live show in which he revealed his buttocks before the young audience. Due to his many controversies, the show was eventually moved to be broadcast on cable.

Shechter appeared in the Israeli children's song competition The Festigal, in 2004, he appeared in the Israeli musical Peter Pan and hosted the music festival in Samakh, and by 2003 he was in the Hot 3 telenovela Mishak Hahayim (Game of Life). Shechter was among the first five actors in the telenovela Ba'am (Soap opera, Inc.) in 2005, and he appeared in the telenovela Hafa (The champion) with Yehuda Levi in 2005. In addition, Shechter has worked on several campaigns and advertisements for Cellcom and Bamba. In 2006, Shechter was also regarded as the leading model in the Israeli swimsuit company Pilpel's swimsuit campaign. In addition, Shechter appears in the regular cast of Mo'adon Layla (nightclub). Shechter was also involved in dubbing several Animated series and films to Hebrew, including Avatar: The Last Airbender (as Zuko in season 1), and Shaun the Sheep movie and its 2020 sequel Shaun are among other films. Avatar: Sheep (as Shaun) and the film Sheep (as Shaun).

Shechter appeared in the Israeli film NO exit, which earned the Wolgin award in the Jerusalem Film Festival in 2006. Shechter appeared in the second season of the telenovela "Ha-Alufa" in 2007. Shechter appeared on "To Love Anna" on Channel ten in 2008, as well as Moshe Ivgy's film "Lost Islands," directed by Reshef Levy, and the Israeli drama "Until the wedding (). Shechter is also active in the satirical exhibition Shavua Sof. Shechter continued to act in a series named Havoca in 2009. He appeared in the Israeli drama series Noah's Ark in November 2009. Shechter appeared in the Israeli drama film Phobidilia in February 2009.
