After a stellar sophomore season for the University of Dayton in 2019-20, Power forward David Cohen was named National College Player of the Year. He declared for the NBA Draft after his sophomore season. The New York Knicks drafted him eighth overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Before Fame

He had received invitations from Texas A&M University, Georgetown University, and Texas Tech University, but he had not accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Dayton.
