Nora Angela Zehetner (born February 5, 1981) is an American film and television actress.
Early life
Zehetner was born in El Paso, Texas, and the niece of Nancy Lynne (née Nelson) and John Carol Zehetner. She attended elementary school in Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, before heading back to El Paso. When she was 14 years old, she migrated to Dallas, where she spent many years at McKinney High School. She completed the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, an early college entrance program at the University of North Texas for students interested in mathematics or science for one year.
Career
Zehetner began acting as a child, but she was aiming for something she had been dreaming about since she was eight years old, and she and Los Angeles began in Los Angeles. R.S.V.P. : She appeared in Tart (2001), American Pie 2 (2001), R.S.V.P. The Song of Rose (2003), May (2002), as well as other films and several television series and commercials. On the WB's show Everwood, Zehetner portrayed Laynie Hart.
Zehetner plays Laura, the femme fatale Laura in Brick, which earned the Special Jury Prize for Originality of Vision at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Zehetner's complete, unedited version of "The Sun Whose Rays Are All Ablaze" is included on the soundtrack CD, which was released by Lakeshore Records on March 21, 2006.
Zehetner appears in the lead role of Christy in the thriller-horror film Beneath.
