Nazan Eckes (née Üngör) (born 9 May 1976) is a German television personality of Turkish descent.

Personal life

Claus Eckes' marriage from February 2000 to their divorce in 2007. Andreas Khol, the youngest son of Austrian People's Party politician Andreas Khol, married painter and former model Julian Khol in June 2012. Both boys have two children.

Eckes, the daughter of Turkish immigrants from Eskişehir, completed her Abitur high school diploma in Leverkusen, where her father worked as a worker in a chemical and pharmaceutical company.

Her time at VIVA followed by a formal journalistic apprenticeship (Volontariat) that lasted 18 months on the same channel. Eckes joined VIVA as a regular TV journalist in 1998. She worked as a freelance reporter for the Turkish language regional newspaper Haftalk Posta between 1998 and 1999.

Eckes moved to Hamburg in 1999 and provided the weather forecast for RTL Television's regional evening show Guten Abend RTL. In the local news program Point 12, she delivered the weather forecast for the next year. Claus Eckes was married in 2000.

Eckes has been on weekdays since January 28, 2003. RTL Exclusiv and Life, which she wrote about last year, was a hit on RTL Exclusiv and Life. When the regular hosts were on vacation, Die Lust to Live was a stand-in for the regular hosts. Ole Tillmann and Deutschland's beste Doppelgänger also appeared in the World Music Awards on Saturday nights, as she and Mike Krüger presented a look-alike-show on Saturday nights. Eckes was briefly part of RTL's coverage of Formula One, presenting articles about the city and/or country staging the event. This was turned into a separate programme called Formel Exclusiv, in which she unveiled lifestyle and glamour themes that were nominally related to Formula One.
