Early life
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Kaur was born as Nathalia Pinheiro Felipe Martins. Her mother has Portuguese ancestry, but her father's exact ancestry is unknown; in an interview, Kaur said she is "half Punjabi" and that her father is half Indian; she paternal grandfather of Punjabi and her paternal grandmother of Portuguese.
Kaur has been modeling since she was 14 and continued to do so while studying law at Universidade Cândido Mendes before being compelled to work as a full-time model after receiving an invitation in India. She is also known as an opera singer.
