Early life
Esther Daphna Ginzburg was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel,'s wealthy neighborhood of Tzahala. Adrian Walter-Ginzburg, an American Jewish gerontologist who immigrated to Israel, is a mother from Israel. Arieh "Arik" Ginzburg, Esther's father, is an architect from a Jewish family of Ashkenazi (Polish-Jewish and Belarusian-Jewish descent. Shlomo "Grisha" Ginzburg, a Grodno-born Israeli architect who was involved in Tel Aviv's initial planning and construction, was her paternal grandfather. Her maternal grandmother was a cousin of late American photojournalist Paul Schutzer. She attended the Ironi Yud Alef High School in northern Tel Aviv.
On July 22, 2009, she was enlisted as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. She made news by speaking out in favor of military enlistment in October of this year by comparing her fellow Israeli model Bar Refaeli for escaping military service via a brief marriage to a family friend. "Military service is one of the things I personally believe in," Ginzburg said while serving as an Israeli soldier.
Personal life
On June 8, 2012, Ginzburg married Israeli real estate investor Adi Keizman. They have two sons.
On December 18, 2013, Ginzburg's father was suing her for allegedly failing to pay her money owed for a house she and her husband sold her. Since being sued, she no longer has a relationship with her father, and she hasn't met her son.
The Israeli television show "Exposure" on March 17, 2022, featured several suspected Israeli victims of Keizman and Ginsburg. The claimants believe that they invested their life savings with Keizman, who promised to build them homes, but that no money was received. According to the case of the alleged victims, who now live in poverty, Ginzburg and Keizman maintain in Los Angeles.
Career
Ginzburg started modeling with a milk commercial at the age of eight and then signed a modeling firm Elite Models at the age of 14. She signed a two-year contract with Israeli firm Fox in 2006 and was featured on French Elle's February/March 2007 front page. She has also appeared in international campaigns for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, FCUK, Pull and Bear, and Castro's Israeli-based fashion brand Castro. She was also included in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Ginzburg made her acting debut in the 2010 Joel Schumacher film Twelve, which received critical feedback. She appeared in Movie 43, an American comedy film that was panned by critics and won the 2013 Razzie for Worst Picture.
