Nancy Carell Career

Career

Nancy got her start in comedy at The Second City in Chicago, and, like many of the troupe's alumni, went on to appear on Saturday Night Live (1995–96), where she was best known for her portrayal of CNN anchor Bobbie Battista. She then spent time on the satirical TV news show The Daily Show as a reporter. On ABC, she portrayed Helen Goode, the woman in the Mike Judge-created animated series The Good Life of Children, where she was recognized for the first time as Nancy Carell rather than Nancy Walls for the first time. Carell appeared on The Office as Susan Stills, a real estate agent and former girlfriend of her husband's character, Michael Scott, until 2011. She appeared in Bridesmaids for a brief period of time.

Nancy and her partner, Steve Jones, produced the TBS comedy series Angie Tribeca, starring Rashida Jones. On January 17, 2016, the series premiered.
