Nabilla Benattia Life

Leona Benattia (born February 5, 1992) is a Franco-Swiss model and reality TV star.

She has appeared in L'Amour est aveugle (2009), Hollywood Girls (2012–2014), Les Anges de la téléréalité (2012–2013), and her own TV show Allo Nabilla (2013–2014). She was well-known in France for her one-liner "non," but "nothing" on les Anges de la téléréalité.

The line was later used in advertisements from IKEA and Carrefour.

On YouTube, it became a hit among a number of parody videos viewed millions of times, including a Downfall parody.

At the Institut National de la Profession Industrielle, she registered the word as a trademark.

Personal life

Benattia was born in Ambilly, France, and was a member of the French Orphed class. Her father is an Algerian and her mother, a Swiss immigrant, is a Swiss citizen. Since January 2013, she has been in a love affair with Thomas Vergara.

Benattia was arrested in July 2009 for her participation in a bribery involving three Congolese individuals and sentenced to six months in jail. She opened three bank accounts under a false name. In the meantime, her accomplices intercepted money transfers from public letter boxes and updated the bank account information to match Benattia's accounts. She later received a loan from them. Since the majority of them were elderly people, the victims were unable to notice the robbery. 200,000 Swiss francs were stolen, according to the ministry of justice. She was discovered on CCTV in a UBS Bank branch in January 2009 and arrested at Geneva airport in July 2009, carrying the passport of her cousin and using a false name to the police. For her involvement in the crimes, she spent a month in La Clairière's youth detention center.

She was arrested on November 7, 2014, and detained for many weeks after beating her boyfriend Thomas Vergara in the chest with a knife during an altercation. After being low-profile for several months, she made a media comeback in April 2016 by releasing her autobiography. She was sentenced to six months in prison on May 19, 2016, but she avoided returning to prison thanks to France's system of penal reforms. Before the trial, she and Thomas Vergara reconciled.

Nabilla and her fiancé Thomas Vergara announced in April 2019 that they were expecting their first child and were planning to migrate to Dubai after it is born. They married in Paris on May 1st, 2019 and gave birth to their son, named Milann Vergara, on October 11, 2019. A few months after their son's birth, they moved to Dubai.

She gave birth to her second son, Leyann, on June 5, 2022.

Nabilla Benattia Career

Career

When she was 14 years old, Nabilla was first recruited by a modeling company. When working on the Peugeot stand shortly after, she was named Miss Geneva International Motor Show 2011 shortly after. Benattia lied about her age in order to be included in the TF1's reality TV show L'Amour est aveugle (the French version of "love is blind"), where participants live in total darkness.

Benattia underwent breast enlargement surgery, which she claims was intended to advance her career, enabling her to appear in magazines such as Maxim and Playboy.

She appeared in the fourth series of les Anges de la téléréalité shot in Hawaii during 2012. A group of reality TV stars staring on NRJ 12 follows a group of reality TV stars for ten weeks. On the show, she became romantically involved with Sofiane Tadjine-Lambert, who was a member of Star Academy 4. "Dingue de toi (Nabi... Nabilla)", she wrote a song for her, gaining the top spot in the French music charts. On the show La Conciergerie, she was interviewed by Jeremstar following the show.

She wrapped filming on the fifth series in Florida in early 2013. Benattia ostensibly received €25,000 for her role in this series. Benattia was shown in a confessional cutaway, where she mimed speaking into a telephone and explained the terms that led to her celebrity: in the fourth episode, after an altercation with a fellow female castmember who said she did not buy shampoo.

The utterance of Nabilla caused a media buzz in France and resulted in numerous parodies, both on the internet and in various media. In mid-March, La Grosse Équipe, the production company behind les Anges, registered four trademarks with l'Institut national de la propriété industrielle, France's intellectual property registry. These were "Allô, quoi," "Allô, t'es une fille, t'as pas de shampooing," "Allô, non mais tousô quoi," and "Allô, Nabilla la vie de la famille Benattia." The last of these led to rumors that a new reality show was offing with her as the star, as shown on Twitter. Benattia revealed in a television interview with the talkshow Grand Journal, watched by 1.8 million viewers, that there will be a reality television show based on her day-to-day. The lavatory has also registered "Nabilla cherche l'amour" as a name for a television show.

As if there is no such thing as a fille t'as pas de cheveux," Benattia herself registered a new trademark "Nabilla allotte t'as pas de shampooing t'as pas de shampooing. The trademarks have been licensed in ten categories that cover a variety of industries, including medical equipment, jewelry, and linen, but not shampoo.

A French Wikipedia article about her was withdrawn after a debate resulted in a decision that she lacked encyclopedic interest, instead of concrete "information"; this decision on the French-language Wikipedia attracted some media attention; Les Anges de la téléréalité's page was redirected to Les Anges de la téléréalité. It was eventually revived and retained following another debate, which concluded that her notability had been sufficiently robust.

On NRJ 12, her own TV Reality show launched on November 12, 2013. The show follows her and her family in Los Angeles as she referred to her famous phrase "non mais allô quoi" in reference to her popular phrase "non mais allô quoi." The show got mixed feedback. Although the premiere's ratings were dissatisfaction, the show nonetheless did well, and was renewed for three other seasons. She became a columnist for Touche pas à mon poste, France's most famous talk show, in September 2014.

By TMZ, she is often referred to as "French Kim Kardashian."

Trop vite, an autobiographical book published in April 2016, she published it (Too fast).

Andy Picci, a British experimental artist, unveiled a new body of work devoted to Benattia in June 2018. The exhibit at Joseph Saint Martin Gallery featured a series of paintings by classic masters, including the Mona Lisa, on which Picci has Photoshopped Benattia's photographs.
