Career
Momina said, "Media was the last thing I thought I'd do before going on to social media." Sultana Sidddhu, my mother-in-law, has long been associated with PTV, but I was mostly concerned about finances at the time, but at the time, I was just worried about finances. "I had no idea that I would be entering the creative field." Mere Paas Paas Paas, Samira Fazal's first independent drama series, received critical acclaim. Dastaan, a partition-based drama series based on Razia Butt's book Bano, starred then-newcomer Fawad Khan, with Sanam Baloch playing Bano's title character. Critics lauded Dastaan's ascension, making it one of the most acclaimed series of all time. The Hum Honorary Most Challenging Subject Award was given to the writer of a number of series and then formed her own production company, Momina Duraid Productions, and she became the senior producer of Hum TV at 1st Hum Awards.
Momina convinced Farhat Ishtiaq in 2011 to dramatize her novel Humsafar, which had been previously rejected by two production houses. Humsafar's immediate success after its unveiling in New Zealand and received a slew of critics and locals from around the world. Humsafar was regarded by critics as the resurgent of drama industry. "If Haseena Moin was the benchmark of mass fame back then, then Humsafar is an indicator of our endemic regressiveness," Dawn News' Sabahat Zakariya wrote. The series has a following in India, Europe, and North America, with a huge fanbase. Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, the series's lead actors, went on to become Pakistan's most well-known actors.
