Personal life
Bernard is the granddaughter of actor Joseph Bernard, whom Molly Bernard claimed in an interview co-founded the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. However, all available biographical information states that Joseph Bernard was actually executive director and a teacher at the Lee Strasberg Theatre in Hollywood. Molly Bernard started her career in 2000 in the drama Pay It Forward, alongside Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. Bernard's early appearances include a recurring role in the television series Alpha House, in which she starred Angie Sullivan.
