Diogo Santos Coelho, 24, who is accused of masterminding a multinational cybercrime racket racket, begs authorities to refuse his extradition to the United States

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 15, 2024
Diogo Santos Coelho is at the center of a tug-of-war between his homeland Portugal and the United States on suspicion that he is a key figure in a ruse that sold the unlawfully obtained personal information of millions of victims, earning a fortune for the perpetrators of the fraud, which has made shadowy criminals rich in the process. Santos Coelho, a south London boy who was raised in Croydon, south of London, said he was effectively groomed as a friendless adolescent and had no idea he was doing something wrong. Since being arrested as a passenger on a flight to Gatwick in January 2022, he has cooperated fully with authorities, but not in the United States. Santos Coelho said on Sunday night, 'I am just trying to return to my homeland country, to my family, and face whatever consequences come to me.'

All stopped Oil's, the devastation of a priceless Rokeby Venus painting at the National Gallery and drowned the Birmingham University library in orange paint

Whenever a video of Hanan Ameur and Harrison Donnelly (left) sparked rioting this morning, they were seen hammering the glass of the priceless oil painting, shouting, 'it is time for deeds not words.' Both have had previous encounters with the legislation punishing property on behalf of Just Stop Oil. Ameur, 22, (top right) appeared in court last week after being charged with storming during Les Miserables' appearance in London's West End. She and four other protesters allegedly appeared on stage at the Sondheim Theatre last month and waved the climate change organization's banners, bringing the event to a halt. Donnelly, 20, (bottom right) was charged with criminal damage of a building last month after he reportedly splatted orange paint and hand prints over the University of Birmingham library's front door before staging a sit-down protest under a Just Stop Oil banner.

A judge slams Just Stop Oil activist after she requested for a postponement of her trial so she could jet off to India as a protester. 28 people have been charged with including four others for Les Miserables' tumultuous West End performance

Lydia Gribbin (left), 28, appeared in court on Friday, November 3 with four others charged with aggravated trespass, a charge she denies alongside Hannah Taylor, 23; Hanan Ameur, 18; and Poppy Bliss, 19 (inset). However, Gribbin's question at Westminster Magistrate's Court sparked a particularly positive response from district Judge Michael Snow, who asked if the trial could be held at the end of February, so she could travel to India unimpeded. Four of the five activists have been barred from entering Westminster and Camden, London, after they reportedly screamed the stage at the Sondheim Theatre on October 5 (right), costing show bosses £80,000.
