Personal life

Sarrazin was in a seven-year relationship (1967–1974) with actress Jacqueline Bisset, whom he encountered while filming the drama film The Sweet Ride (1968).

Early life and career

Sarrazin was born in Quebec City, Quebec, and moved to Montreal as a child. He began acting in school productions and was able to land his first professional role at age 17.

Sarrazin appeared on television shows in Toronto, including Festival and Wojeck.

Later career

Sarrazin's focus has shifted to television. He appeared in Beulah Land (1980) and The Seduction (1982), as well as in Combat Back (1982).

He appeared in "I Hear You Calling" (1995), and "The Other Side" (1999). He appeared on Saturday Night Live on April 15, 1978.

Sarrazin was originally intended to appear Joe Buck in the drama film Midnight Cowboy (1969), but he was unable to obtain a new deal, and Jon Voight took his place.
