Michael Kieran Harvey (born 7 July 1961) is an Australian pianist and composer whose career has been notable for its breadth and broad repertoire.

He is known for commissioning, performing, and composing new music.

He has particularly marketed the work of Australian composers, including Carl Vine, whose piano music he has released and much of which was written for him.

He is also associated with Olivier Messiaen's piano music. "One of the most popular exponents of contemporary music in the United States," Clive O'Connell of The Age writes.
