Wyatt graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2010 and appeared in several theater performances around the country.

Early life
Meyne Wyatt was born in Kalgoorlie on August 14th, 1989, to Sue, a painter and children's book illustrator, and Brian, who worked with the National Native Title Council. His father was a Yamatji man, but his mother is from the Wongatha clan. Wyatt is the youngest of four siblings and he attended Hale School in Perth from the age of 13. Wyatt completed a theatre course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts after leaving Hale (WAAPA). He applied for full-time positions at WAAPA and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and was accepted into both. In 2010, he decided to attend NIDA and graduated.
Career
Following his graduation from NIDA, Wyatt appeared in several theatre performances in Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane. In Lachlan Philpott's production of Silent Disco, he received the Best Newcomer Award at the 2011 Sydney Theatre Awards for his performance as an Aboriginal teen. Wyatt appeared in Jimmy Middleton's supporting role in the musical comedy film The Sapphires in 2012. In a production of The School of Wives, Wyatt made his debut with the Bell Shakespeare company.
Wyatt appeared in Peter Pan's lead role at the New Victory Theatre in early 2013. Wyatt appeared in The Broken Shore, a television miniseries based on Peter Temple's 2005 book of the same name, in the same year. He appeared in Tim Winton's short story collection The Turning also. In the segment titled Family, directed by Shaun Gladwell, Wyatt played Frank Leaper, a footballer "who walks away at a critical time in his career."

Wyatt is the first Indigenous actor to appear in the main cast since the program began in 1985. According to executive producer Jason Herbison, casting an Indigenous actor was "unintentional" and that Wyatt had been the right actor for the role. Wyatt relocated to Melbourne for filming and made his screen debut as Nate on August 18, 2014. Wyatt first appeared in the six-part sketch comedy series Black Comedy in November 2014.
Wyatt took a break from Neighbours to appear in King Lear's Sydney Theatre Company production from November 2015 to January 2016. Wyatt's father died from throat cancer in October, causing him to miss the first two weeks of rehearsals. Edmund's role was briefly considered by director Neil Armfield because he was worried that Wyatt would find it difficult to play a man who plans to murder his father. However, Wyatt found the play "a good distraction." Wyatt appeared in the film What If It Works?
Wyatt left Neighbours in early 2016, and his character's last scenes were broadcast in June of this year. Wyatt appeared in The Leftovers, an American film that was shot in Australia, in 2017. City of Gold, Wyatt's first play, was published by Currency Press in July 2019. The play was co-production by the Queensland Theatre and Griffin Theatre in Brisbane before heading to Sydney. It was shortlisted for the 2019 Victorian Premier's Prize for Drama, and Wyatt received the 2019 Best Male Actor in a Leading Role in a Mainstage Production award at the Sydney Theatre Awards for his part in it.
