Drew Garrett (born Drew Garrett Nelson; April 21, 1989) is an American actor.

He is best known for his role in Michael Corinthos' most popular soap opera General Hospital, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010.

Early life and education

Garrett was born in Jupiter, Florida, to Randy Nelson and Karole Cooney, a former Kravis Center front-of-house manager. He attended the Dreyfoos School of the Arts and played varsity soccer. He and his mother moved to Los Angeles in 2005, after graduating from the Los Angeles County High School for the Performing Arts with the 2007 theater class. Brett is his elder brother, who is a veteran speed-boarder.

Garrett made his first acting appearance as a student in an etiquette video for children in 2002 while living in Florida. He made guest appearances on Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP and the CBS drama Criminal Minds after moving to Los Angeles three years ago.

Garrett was first on GM in 2009 as Michael Corinthos III. He appeared in 170 episodes from 2009 to 2010, receiving a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. Garrett appeared on prime-time CBS series The Mentalist in 2011. In 2012, he landed his first film role in Divorce Invitation. Garrett appeared in Anthony Zuiker's debut episode of Black Box TV in the same year. Jesse Simms appeared in the web series Never Fade Away, and the pilot episode was released on April 2, 2012. He appeared in 78 episodes of the streaming television series Youthful Daze in 2016.
