Maxim Roy (born March 7, 1972) is a Canadian actress.

She is best known for her role as Detective Isabelle Latendresse in the English version of the Canadian police drama television series 19-2, Jocelyn Fray in the fantasy series Shadowhunters, and mistress Michelle in Bad Blood.

Personal life

Gildor Roy, Luc Roy, Judith Roy (with whom she appeared in Coyote), and Yvon Roy are both Québécois actors.

Career

Roy has worked in theatre, film, and television. Au nom du Pere et du Fils, a thirteen-episode television series, had her lead. Le Sorcier, Le Sorcier's sequel, was then released. She appeared in Love & Human Remains and in the television film Platinum. Her theatre work includes appearances in musicals and in the play L'Affaire Tartuffe. She was a member of the Golden Reel winning Les Boys in 1999.

Roy is a founder and co-owner of Sanna Films, Inc. Roy wrote and directed the company's first film, Final Four. She appears in a second film, Lotto 6/66, starring Peter Miller and directed by Dominic Laurence James, one of Roy's co-stars.
