Premier League clubs have voted unanimously for a major new rule change at today's shareholders' meeting. The new rule is set to be brought in next season, but will not be ready for the start of the campaign.  It will impact how offside calls are made moving forward in England's top division, and will come into effect after one of the international breaks, meaning it will be introduced as early as September or as late as November.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil is charged by the FA over furious reaction to ruled-out equaliser against West Ham - with head coach facing potential touchline ban for his actions at Molineux

TOM COLLOMOSSE: Gary O'Neil faces a potential touchline ban after he was handed an FA charge following his furious reaction when Wolves were denied a late equaliser last Saturday. Wolves thought Max Kilman had made it 2-2 deep into stoppage time against West Ham only for the goal to be chalked off after a long VAR check, as substitute Tawanda Chirewa was judged to have impeded Hammers goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski from an offside position. O'Neil labelled the call 'possibly the worst decision I have ever seen' and now looks set to pay the price for his outspoken reaction.

In a pre-season friendly, the Hammers were thrashed 4-0 by Leverkusen, but goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski said: 'We now have a great experience because we now know what to expect.'
