He is best known for his role as Paul Lambert in the soap opera Emmerdale from 2004 to 2010 and then again in 2015.

Life and career

Bose was born in South East London on July 3rd 1977. Shuvro, the oldest brother who lives in London, and Shuva, who lives in India, have two siblings. When Bose was a kid, his family immigrated to India. Most people are unaware that I'm half Indian. He reveals it to Inside Soap. He returned to England at the age of six to stay with his aunt. He has lived in Milan, Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles. He now lives in London. He owned the Queens Head pub in Burley, Wharfedale, for a number of years. Bose is a registered life coach and dietitian. He is also connected to journalist Mihir Bose.

Bose was a model in the beginnings of his career. He worked in Tokyo and New York City, as well as in Europe. He began studying psychology while living in Los Angeles, but it was when his lecturer suggested that he enroll in performance classes to boost his confidence that acting had begun. He showed a natural talent in Los Angeles and started working there. He was brought back to England by personal circumstances.

Bose appeared in many television shows, including the television sitcom, My Family, Cutting It, Silent Witness, and Coupling. In addition, Bose conducted interviews for, hosted, and narrated the 2001 film American Mullet, as well as the internet shorts The Mullet Chronicles. In the bio-pic of the Ferrari family, he has also worked in Italy, most notably playing Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredo (Dino) Ferrari.

He first appeared in early 2004, and he debuted in September 2004. In mid-2007, Bose and former castmate Hayley Tamaddon aka Del Dingle were named finalists of Soapstar Superchef, an ITV show. In an interview with co-star Matthew Wolfenden, Bose is the highest scorer on the Wii that is in the games room on Emmerdale's set.

Paul's storylines in Emmerdale debating his love life as well as his complicated relationship with his parents. Bose told reporters that he was out of place and made gay people seem promiscuous. Bose left Emmerdale in 2008, but has since returned for brief stretches: first in 2010 (for Paul's sister, Nicola King), and then again in March and September 2015.

Bose is the UK and Ireland Ambassador for The Encephalitis Society; he is also a patron of The Scratchy Post, a cat rescue charity based in Hertfordshire.

Bose toured with Alan Ayckbourn on Season's Greetings in 2011.
