Seyfried added, "Because a 'Mean Girls 2' is never going to happen, is it?" "I don't know," her former costar said, to which she reacted angrily. I heard it being a movie musical, and I was like, 'Oh no.' We can't do that. It has to be the same tone." Seyfried accepted, noting that writer and actress Tina Fey "is busy," but that "she'll get to it."
